Today I’m going to @wickedalbion‘s memory exhibition and this is the promotional poster. You may know him for his mcHanzo and Reaper76 works, here on Tumblr, but he was a talented artist in everything he did and the strongest person I ever known and what you see here is one of his beautiful original works. Some of you may already know this, but my friend passed away because of a bone tumor in february and I miss him a lot. If you are currently in Rome for some reason, consider to come say hi and admire his beautiful works phisically printed on paper and boards.

As some of you know @wickedalbion passed away a few months ago. You can read the details here at @ufficiosulretro post who was a very close friend.
Last year he contributed with some sweet Reaper76 fanarts for our event. Even tho I never had the chance to talk with him, I did followed him and his artworks.

If anything, let their art live on. People work the entire lives for everything that’s theirs.. who’s to say once youre gone that all your hard work and success goes away too. As long as they’re obviously credited, I see it more of an honor.

I loved @wickedalbions art so fucking much, I still tear up a little when I see it come across my dash and go back through their posts every once in a while. What is the goddamned problem with continuing to enjoy what they created, especially when it’s reblogged from their own tumblr?
Do you not even realize how ignorant you sound when you say that? If we stopped appreciating art just because the artist was deceased, we’d have a lot fucking less to appreciate in the world, you twit.
Also made myself a new camera strap. I’ve had this scarf forever 👀.
Also after all these years, I spent most of the day yesterday trying to get my machine working correctly again after switching needles and feet.
Literally took the whole damned thing apart this morning for cleaning and lubing just in case, blew out the inside with canned air, the whole shebang.
The needle.
Was slightly.
Off center.
Literally all I had to do was make the flat backing flush.
That was it. A whole day cursing over a slightly off kilter needle.
This is why I don’t usually sew in the mornings.
Sewed up a super quick bifold card case. I’m tired of lugging around my long wallet and saw a couple ‘scrap’ cases I liked. I like things that already look like they’ve been beaten up lmao. The edges will get more frayed and less stringy/snippy with use. @andreadollsahoy gifted me both of these fabrics ages ago 💖. It’s hard to see, but the front has a Luna moth! I’m gonna use it for my travel makeup roll, too!
